About Me

Hi! I’m Sofia Quadri. A 37 year old devout Muslim and mum. I'm also Hyderabadi and Afghani on my mothers side, and Hyderabadi and English on my dads side, and for much of my life, I searched for my calling.

In the whirlwind of marriage, infertility, child loss, pregnancy loss, pregnancy, and motherhood, I found myself asking 2 difficult questions: What the hell just happened man? and Who am I now? Because all the above changed me little by little until I no longer knew myself.

I thought I had the answer, a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister but somewhere along the way, I lost my sense of self. My identity felt blurred, my purpose uncertain.

Yet throughout it all, there was an inner voice that never left me cheeky, clever, a little cocky perhaps annoyingly poling me to be heard. And when I finally listened, that voice and some harassment from my cousin led me to chocolate.

For the first time, I feel truly at peace. My hands create, my mind creates just as my womb once did. Through crafting each bar, through painting with love and care, I’ve rediscovered joy.

Now, I share that joy with others. Each bar is an extension of myself and my journey, and as cliche as it sounds, it’s truly created from the heart and seeing the happiness it brings to hundreds of customers fills me with joy, confidence, purpose and self love I never imagined to be possible.

This is me. This is my calling to create, feel the love and spread it. And I just got started:)
