But right now, Noors world has fallen apart. Her family lost their home, and most days, there’s nothing to eat. Her tiny stomach growls, but she stays quiet because she knows her mommy needs the little food they find. Her mommy is having a baby, but she’s weak and malnourished. The doctors say the baby is at risk, and Noor worries every night that something terrible might happen.

Gaza has been declared a famine, and for Noor, every day feels like a fight to survive. She clings to her dreams, but hunger and fear are constant shadows. Still, somewhere deep inside, she holds on to hope that one day, she will stand in front of a classroom, smiling, teaching children just like her.
